Termination of a Telecom Contract
After 6 months, you can cancel your contract (whether fixed-term or indefinite-term) free of charge and without giving a reason. Do you want to cancel your contract during the first 6 months? You will remain liable for the full subscription fee up to the end of the sixth month.
The contractual notice period must be observed and should not exceed two months.
You can cancel your contract through any written means, such as a letter, email, or text message to the designated number provided by the operator for cancellations. You cannot cancel by telephone alone.
Did you receive a welcome gift with your subscription, such as a mobile phone? If you cancel the contract prematurely, the company may charge compensation. However, such compensation may not exceed the residual value of the product at the time of cancellation of the contract.
The operator must provide a repayment table, showing the remaining value of the product for each month of the fixed-term contract. The maximum repayment period should not exceed 24 months.
