Guarantee on Repairs and Spare Parts
There is no compulsory guarantee on repairs. However, the guarantee period is suspended during the period of repair.
If spare parts are used in the repair, they have the same guarantee period as the repaired product. For example: if the product is still under guarantee for 15 months, you also have a 15-month guarantee on the spare parts.
Is the repair carried out with spare parts after the two-year guarantee period? Then you are only entitled to a two-year guarantee period for the spare part if the repair is incidental to the purchase.
If you purchase a spare part yourself, it is covered by a two-year guarantee.
