There is no mandatory guarantee on car repairs. However, the guarantee period is paused during the repair period.

If spare parts are used in the repair, they are covered by the same guarantee period as the vehicle. For example, if the car has 15 months remaining on its guarantee, the same coverage applies to the spare parts.

Is a repair using spare parts carried out after the two-year guarantee period? In that case, you are only entitled to a two-year guarantee on the spare parts if the repair is considered an extension of the original purchase.

If you purchase a new spare part yourself, it is automatically covered by a two-year guarantee.
