Excessively High Price

Companies generally have the freedom to set the prices of their goods and services, with the exception of regulated goods such as pharmaceuticals and fuels.

However, this freedom is not absolute. Abnormal prices and excessive profits are prohibited, particularly where shortages are exploited (for example, during the COVID-19 crisis).

Sellers must clearly inform you of the total price you have to pay before your purchase. If the final price exceeds the agreed amount, you are not required to pay.

You have the right to ask for a quotation before agreeing to a service. The business owner may charge a fee for preparing it, but they must clearly inform you of this before doing so.
