Extra Charges for Refusing Direct Debit Payments for Energy Bills
If you choose not to use direct debit for your payments, your energy supplier may not charge you additional fees.
However, your energy supplier may offer you a discount if you agree to use direct debit for payments. However, this should not result in additional costs for customers who do not want to pay by direct debit.
As a customer, you may choose to limit the direct debit to the advance invoices, without including the annual or interim statements.
