Labelling of Textile Products
Textile products placed on the market must bear a durable, easily legible, visible, and accessible label indicating the fibre composition.
Origin marking is generally voluntary within the European Union. Such labelling can take various forms, such as "Made in Belgium," "Belgian product," "manufactured/produced in Belgium," etc. It is prohibited to possess, transport, import, or market a product with an origin label that falsely suggests an EU or EU Member State origin when the actual origin is a third country.
